Adrenal Dysfunction Contributes to PMS Symptoms

Your adrenal glands play an important role in many functions of your body, including hormone balance. If you try to correct the hormone imbalance (for example, PMS) without addressing the underlying cause (adrenal dysfunction), you can only have partial symptom control, leaving you wondering why you can't get a handle on the hormone balance.  Cortisol and progesterone are directly linked and a change in one hormone production affects the other.

What can you do?  First of all, be tested correctly!  Have your hormone levels checked with a saliva test to accurately diagnose any hormone imbalances.  Secondly, correct any hormone imbalances using bio-identical (human-identical) hormones when appropriate, nutrition, supplements when appropriate, and lifestyle changes.
